Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

2. Visiting the website

When you open this page, our web host's server automatically stores technical data: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, and your browser and operating system. We need this data to deliver the page and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

We do not analyse this data or combine it with other data. It is deleted automatically once it is no longer needed for operation.

3. No cookies, no external services

We use no cookies and no analytics or advertising services. Fonts are not loaded from third-party servers.

If you choose a larger text size at the top of the page, your browser remembers this setting. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. This is strictly necessary for the function you requested (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete the setting at any time by clearing your browser data.

4. Contact by phone and email

If you call or write to us, we use your details only to answer your enquiry and organise your rehab exercise. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for general enquiries.

We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods require otherwise.

5. Contact via WhatsApp

You can also message us on WhatsApp. The button on our page is only a link. Data is sent to WhatsApp only when you tap it and send a message. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta). Data may also be transferred to the USA.

Using WhatsApp is voluntary. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time. Please do not send health information or your prescription via WhatsApp. Use phone or email instead, or bring the documents to your advice session.

6. Health data

For rehab exercise we process information from your doctor's prescription. This is health data, which is specially protected. We use it only to provide the rehab classes and to bill your health insurer (Art. 9 (2) (h) GDPR).

7. Links to other websites

Our page links to Google Maps (directions) and to lokahiloft.de. No data is sent to these providers when you open our page. That only happens when you click a link, and then the provider's own privacy notice applies.

8. Encryption

This page is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS, shown by the padlock in your browser's address bar.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access your stored data, to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to data portability and to object. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. Just write to us at gesundheit@lokahiloft.de.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
